The results were newly revealed on November 22nd in Austria. Launched in 2013, the awards program nominates ski destinations in a number of categories, some of which exist on a world level only – World’s Best New Ski Hotel, World’s Best New Ski Boutique Hotel, New Best Ski Chalet and the special World Ski Awards Academy Award for Outstanding Contribution to Ski Tourism – while others are ranked in their own countries, as per Best Ski Resort, Best Ski Hotel, Best Ski Boutique Hotel, Best Ski Chalet and – new for 2014 – Best Ski Area Management Company, for each of the world’s top 21 ski tourism nations.
